The gradual increase of US participation in empowering the Indian Armed Forces was evident during the recently held Republic day parade, where for the first time, four American built aircraft (Apache, Chinook, C-130 Hercules and C-17 Globemaster) took part in the flypast display and the model of P8I was part of the Indian Navy’s Tableau. We look forward to engagements at DefExpo 2020 that will deepen defence ties to help build India’s position in the global defence supply chain, including through US firms growing Make in India partnerships.”
