As co-founder and CEO of Rubrik, the Cloud Data Management company, He is helping companies redefine the way they manage and protect data in a multi-cloud world. Valued at $3.3B, with thousands of customers and 1,500 employees globally, investors have called Rubrik one of the fastest growing enterprise technology companies of all time. Prior to co-founding Rubrik in 2014, He was a full-time partner at Lightspeed Ventures, where He focused on the software, mobile, and Internet sectors with a particular interest in cloud services/infrastructure and social utilities/apps. Hehas backed a number of successful companies, including Nutanix, Pulse, Hootsuite and Bromium. Prior to Lightspeed, He held sales and engineering positions at Oracle Corporation, American Megatrends and IBM. He holds several patents in distributed computing. He earned a bachelor of technology in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and an MBA from The Wharton School, where he was a Palmer Scholar.
