Siddharth Arora is Director of Energy, Environment and Infrastructure at USISPF Delhi Office.
Siddharth has extensive experience in renewable energy policy advocacy, regulatory affairs, and clean energy transition, with over 13 years of experience in the field. He served as the Associate Director (Clean Power) at Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation, where he supported key policymakers such as the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Ministry of Power (MoP), and the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) in advancing India’s clean energy transition.
Siddharth has a strong background in regulatory mechanisms for promoting renewables, having worked with the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) and the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC). He was also involved in the EU-funded project “Facilitating Offshore Wind in India (FOWIND)”.
In addition to his practical experience, Siddharth has contributed to the academic field by publishing two reports with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, advocating for India’s clean energy transition.
He holds an MBA in Power Management from the National Power Training Institute (NPTI), under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from BITS Pilani.
