The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) Fellows Program is a six-month, unpaid professional development opportunity designed for mid-career professionals looking to deepen their engagement in US-India relations through collaboration with senior leadership at USISPF.
This fellowship provides a platform for individuals seeking to apply their expertise in policy, business, and economic development to support the mission of strengthening the US-India partnership.
The program is tailored for professionals who are eager to contribute to the nonprofit sector. USISPF Fellows will take on strategic, high-impact projects, contribute thought leadership, and help shape key initiatives that advance economic and policy ties between the United States and India.
Fellows can work in one or more of the following broad thematic areas:
- Economic and Trade Policy – Addressing key trade and regulatory challenges shaping U.S.-India business and finance.
- Strategic Affairs and Security – Engaging in defense, aerospace, and broader security cooperation discussions.
- Sustainable Infrastructure – Developing solutions at the intersection of climate energy, infrastructure, and climate policy.
- Innovation and Technology Policy – Exploring policy frameworks for AI, digital economy, and tech collaboration.
- Social Impact and Development – Strengthening U.S.-India cooperation in education, public health, and inclusive economic growth.
USISPF Fellows will have strong analytical, research, and communication skills and an interest in US-India relations. Experience in government, finance, trade, or social development is preferred. Fellows generally work remotely, in close collaboration with senior USISPF staff, and may participate in as many in-person opportunities and events as practicable.
