April 22, 2025 | Washington D.C.

USISPF held a Congressional Staff briefing on the outlook for U.S.-India trade on Capitol Hill.

The conversation touched on strengthening commercial relations and building stronger trade ties between Washington and New Delhi in an era of tariffs.

The discussion focused on how both governments are working toward expanding bilateral trade to $500 billion by the end of the decade, as per the Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA), announced by both leaders during their meeting in Washington in February, and building on digital trade to leverage India’s robust digital economy.

Riveting insights from the panel featuring Aparna Pande, Research Fellow at Hudson Institute, and Mark Linscott, Senior Advisor, Trade Policy, USISPF, and former Assistant USTR, as well as insights from USISPF member companies.
