As part of the USISPF AI Leadership Dialogue Series, we hosted a closed-door roundtable titled “Democratising AI Resources” with Dr. Thomas Zacharia, Senior VP for Strategic Technical Partnerships & Public Policy, AMD, Dr. saurabh garg , Secretary, Ministry of Statistics & Program Implementation, and Dr. Vivek Kumar Singh, Senior. Director, NITI Aayog.
This discussion focused on key AI resources, including infrastructure with a focus on computer chips, datasets, open-source AI models, and a skilled workforce.
Participants also ideated on mechanisms to enable equitable access to AI resources, a key priority for India and the Global South in the lead-up to the AI Impact Summit 2026.
