Inaugural U.S.-India Economic Forum

April 25, 2025 | Washington D.C.

USISPF, in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), hosted the Inaugural U.S.-India Economic Forum on the sidelines of the 2025 International Monetary Fund (IMF) and The World Bank Spring Meetings.

The Forum convened senior financial and investment leaders from both nations to examine the future of the U.S.-India economic partnership, assess evolving financial trends, and explore new opportunities for strategic cooperation.

We were honored to welcome Governor Sanjay Malhotra of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Dr. V Anantha Nageswaran, Chief Economic Advisor to the Government of India, Prof. Krishnamurthy V Subramanian, Executive Director, International Monetary Fund, and other distinguished leaders from the financial sector.

The event provided a high-level platform for meaningful dialogue on macroeconomic trends, trade and investment priorities, and the shared goal of deepening financial linkages between the U.S. and India.
