USISPF was delighted to host a high-level roundtable discussion in New Delhi with Shri. Santosh Kumar Sarangi, Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). The session convened member companies from a wide array of sectors, including the energy sector, private equity firms, institutional investors, banks and multilateral development agencies, gathered to discuss critical financing considerations for India’s long-term energy transition. The discussion focused on identifying barriers to mobilizing finance at scale and surfaced practical recommendations to inform both policy design and investment decisions.
