A busy week in Washington, DC with the World Bank and IMF News spring meetings. On the sidelines of these meetings, USISPF was delighted to host  Dr. V Anantha Nageswaran, the Chief Economic Advisor (CEA) to the Govt of India. Dr. Nageswaran touched on India’s economic performance and future trends, particularly the growth outlook for the previous and current financial year. At a time of global economic headwinds, India bucks the trend and continues to be the fastest emerging economy, estimated to grow at near 7-8% .
