Strengthening the US-India nuclear cooperation! USISPF hosted an engaging industry roundtable with Dr. Michael Goff, Acting Assistant Secretary and the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Office of Nuclear Energy in New Delhi. Discussions focused on the landmark US-India nuclear deal and nuclear energy’s role in India’s renewable energy plans to achieve net-zero emissions by 2070. As the world’s third-largest energy consumer, India aims for 100 GW of nuclear power by 2047.
