Ankit Jain serves as the Director of Midwest and Head of Marketing and Communications for USISPF, bringing over a decade of strategic communications leadership across government, media, and corporate sectors.
Prior to joining USISPF, Ankit worked for six years (2017-2023) as Officer on Special Duty (Communication) in the President’s Secretariat, New Delhi. He had the distinct honor of serving two Presidents of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, and Smt Droupadi Murmu. During his tenure, Ankit was an integral part of the Press wing, which is responsible for managing media relations, speeches, social media, internal and external communications for the Hon’ble President of India.
Before entering government, Ankit served as a Consultant for Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata group, with an annual revenue exceeding US $100 billion. He contributed significantly in developing and executing the group’s social media strategy. Earlier in his career, Ankit held the position of Editor at All India Radio, India’s public service broadcaster, where he played a pivotal role in the digital transformation of AIR News. Additionally, he briefly served as an Assistant Professor at his alma mater Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, University of Delhi, teaching ‘Introduction to Journalism’ to first-year students.
Ankit has a master’s degree in Convergent Journalism from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Beyond his professional pursuits, his interests include reading and playing tennis. Ankit lives in Chicago with his wife, Priyanka Deo Jain, finding joy in the delightful chaos of raising their little daughter, Diya, and enjoying the companionship of their German Shepherd, Troy.
